December 5, 2020 marks 85 years since Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune founded the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. Today, we pause to pay homage to Dr. Bethune’s unique vision of Black women working together in an organization of organizations to assure that all persons of African descent have the rights that every human being should have.
